Roosevelt Post #58 was founded in 1945 by American veterans of Polish descent who were returning from World War II back to the steel mill jobs they left here in the Southside (Tremont).

Today, Post 58, located at 2442 Professor Avenue, continues to grow as historic Tremont grows. We are the largest PLAV –USA post among 90 others nationwide. Chartered by Congress in 1987, the ranks have opened up to all nationalities, not just those of Polish heritage. The majority of our veterans, Ladies Auxiliary and Social Members (non-veteran) are of various European heritages. Ukrainian, Slovak, Irish, German, Italian and, of course, Poles make up the melting pot of Roosevelt Post 58.

The ground floor of Post 58 contains a full service bar. Our 1950s era juke box has the best tunes in Cleveland. Our regulation pool table is still only fifty cents. Our daytime price for bottled Bud Lite is only $1.25, while it increases to a whopping $1.50 during the evening. Can you find it any better anywhere in town?

Our 2^nd floor consists of a Meeting Room, kitchen, historic military pictures and Post 58 history.

The basement level contains a display and memorial to all our veterans who never returned home from the wars and conflicts of the United States.
